Supplies You’ll Need
- Yellow paper plates or yellow cardstock
- Black construction paper or black paint/marker
- White Heart Doilies or White paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Googly eyes

Step 1: Print and Cut the Template for the Bee's Body
Print and cut out the oval and circle shapes on yellow paper. This will be used to make the bee's body. You can use the provided template or draw the shapes on your own.

Step 2: Add Lines to the Bee's Body
Next add lines to the oval to add details to the bee. You can do this using a marker to draw lines. You can also use some black paint to add the stripes. If using paint, give the paint time to dry before moving on to the next step.

Step 3: Create a Stinger for the Bee
Draw a triangle shape on a black or gray piece of scrap paper. Cut it out and add it to the bottom of the oval.

Step 4: Add Wings and Antennae to the Bee
Features can be added to the bee with a variety of crafting supplies. To make the bee's wings, use 2 heart shapes doilies. These heart shapes doilies are from the Dollar Tree and are perfect for crafting. Glue the heart dollies to the side of the oval, and place the yellow circle on top. To make the antennae, use a pipe cleaner cut in half. Add paper hearts to the end of the antennae. Bend them to create an antennae and attach them to the yellow circle.

Step 5: Add Details to the Bee's Face
Lastly, add googly eyes to the face for the bee's eyes. Now add all the pieces to make the Valentine bee. Finally add details to the face. You can googly eyes, draw a smile with a marker to the head of the bee. A cute extra detail is to add hearts to the cheeks. You can cut these out of paper or draw them on with a marker.
