The Donkey No One Could Ride Craft

The Donkey No One Could Ride Craft
Donkey with palm leaves for Palm Sunday.

"The Donkey No One Could Ride" by Anthony DeStefano is a book about a little donkey who goes from being able to do nothing to carrying Jesus through town on Palm Sunday. This book is a great read for the Easter season and sends a great message to kids about relying on your faith to give you strength. This cute craft goes along with the story and would be a great project to do for school, church or home.

Other ideas:

  • I also created a donkey using scrapbook paper I had. I love using what I have around, so feel free to use items you already have. Also, after many years of teaching I have found giving kids creative freedom when creating crafts if best. It is amazing how many great ideas children have and how fun it is to see them ideas come to life.

  • You can also add the title of the book, lesson and bible verse or have children write their own information ( included in template )
