Puffy Paint Cauldron

Make a bubbling cauldron overflowing with a magical potion for Halloween. This cauldron is extra fun by adding puffy paint. It is so fun to see and feel the texture of the puffy paint after it dries. This activity will be tons of fun to make with your little one this Halloween.

To create this puffy paint cauldron begin by printing out a copy of the cauldron on black paper. After printing, have your child cut out the cauldron. Then, glue the cauldron on a piece of paper, choose any color you wish. Be sure to leave room above the cauldron for the potion puffy paint.

Next, you need to create the puffy paint. To make puffy paint, you will use foam shaving cream and liquid glue. Start by adding some shaving cream to a bowl or container. Then add some acrylic paint of your choice. Mix the paint to make the shade of color you wish. Next, add an equal amount of liquid glue and mix it in with the shaving cream. You can use a popsicle stick or plastic spoon to mix the puffy paint.

Now use the popsicle stick to add some of the puffy paint to the top of the cauldron. Pile it on until you are satisfied with the amount of potion you have put in the cauldron. Next, add some items into the puffy paint potion. You can add any items you have. Some suggestions are googly eyes, glitter, pom poms and sequin.

To complete the look, you can glue some of the items onto the pot.
