Pizza CVC Word Building
When beginning to learn to read, your child will begin by learning the names and sounds of letters. After, a great next step is to blend these sounds together to read words. It is easy to start with CVC, consonant vowel consonant words. These words begin with a consonant, have a single vowel sound and end with a consonant. They are easy to say each individual sound and blend together to say the word. CVC words are the easiest to read, which makes it the perfect place to start helping your child read at home. This makes readers feel successful and builds their confidence.
