Paper Plate Gingerbread Boy or Girl
Come on, how adorable is this little gingerbread girl? You won't believe how simple this is to make. Using a few craft supplies you will have a quick craft you can complete one afternoon or weekend day. Christmas time is the best time to spend some quality time with your friends and family. Making crafts for the holiday is fun and easy.
Directions for making gingerbread boy:
- Prepare a paper plate by painting with brown paint. You only need a small amount of paint, so I like to squirt a small amount onto the plate and then paint.
- Next, you can use a variety of supplies to create your gingerbread boy. Some supplies I used were craft foam and ribbon.
- For the gingerbread boy, I cut a piece of white craft foam and glued it to the top of the plate.
- I cut out 2 circles to create the eyes for the gingerbread boy.
- Then, a mouth was created using white foam. These are both glued into place on the dried paper plate.
- Next, I took a piece of blue ribbon and folded in half. I then glued a piece of smaller ribbon in the center.
- This was then glued at the bottom of the plate as a bow tie for the gingerbread boy.
