Happy Easter from your Little Chick

Make this adorable Easter chick this Spring. Handprint crafts are the best because they leave you with a snapshot of your child at that point in time. These crafts are great keepsake to make to pull out each holiday season.
To begin use yellow paint to paint your child's hand. Press it down onto the paper to create the chick. If your child is uncomfortable with the paint, you can alternatively trace their hand on yellow paper.

Make the chick's body with yellow paint.
You can complete this on several preprinted sheets or on a blank sheet of paper. There are pictures of eggs to color and add as well.

Several ways to complete the chick
Color the eggs of your choice. Place as many on the paper as your child chooses. They can be colored with marker or crayon. After, cut and glue to the paper.

After, the paint on the handprint has dried, add a beak and eyes using a marker. You can also use a marker to draw and add legs to the chick.

Add features to the handprint to make the chick
Lastly, glue the saying and eggs to the paper.

Add details around your paper.
You can have your child decorate the paper by drawing hearts or flowers. Complete it by having them add their name and perhaps the year. You can add this to a frame to give as a gift or keep for years to come.
