Ghost Painted Pumpkins

Ghost Painted Pumpkins

Have fun this fall creating a painted pumpkin for your Halloween decor. I was excited to find this pink pumpkin at Michaels. I really liked the color and thought about how I could paint it for Halloween.

I decided to draw on some ghosts using Sharpie Creative Markers. I cannot even explain how wonderful these markers are, I LOVE them! I have used them on paper, plastic and wood and have loved how easy they go on. I especially love using the white, it is very vibrant on a variety of colored background colors.

So, I first used the white marker to draw a ghost shape all over the pumpkin. I made them go in different directions and varied the size slightly.

I drew ghosts all over the pumpkins.

Next, I went in and colored in the ghosts with the white creative sharpie marker. I found one coat was enough, you can certainly go over it more if you feel it is needed. You can also use white acrylic paint to make the ghosts as well.

Lastly, draw on some eyes using the black sharpie creative marker. I also drew a circle to make mouths for some of the ghost. I love how this turned out! I made two to add to my Halloween decorations around my home.

Super simple and cute painted pumpkin
