Farm Animal DIY Cow
Learning about farm animals is a fun experience for children. It is a favorite for teaching children about the noises animals make and identifying the simple colors of the animals. Cows are definitely a kid favorite and most kids can easily make the moo sound of a cow and can identify them quickly by sight. Make this adorable cow with your child. It can be customized to the colors your child chooses.
To make your cow print out the papers in the colors your child chooses.
Before cutting out the pieces of the cow, you can add spots to the pieces of the cow using markers, crayons or paint. Add spots to the head, tail and body. You can do this easily with paint and a q tip.
Paint spots on the cow using a paintbrush or q tip.
Once the paint is dry, cut out the pieces of the cow. The lines on the templates are thick to allow for cutting mistakes.
Glue the end of the tail to your painted tail. Put this aside to attach later.
Next, you will attach the legs to the cow's body. In the back, there will be two legs and the utter of the cow. Then, attach the other two legs in the front of the cow's body.
Glue the legs to the cow's body.
Now take the tail and glue it to the back end of the cow.
Next, take the head of the cow and glue the pink mouth piece to the bottom of the face. Add two ovals for the nose, color those in completely. Then, add a smile using a marker or crayon.
Add the eyes of the cow. Color in the middle of the eyes any color you choose. Then, glue them at the top of the head. After, glue the horns at the top of the cow's head.
Complete the cow's face with eyes and the horns.
Now glue the head and body of the cow together, Your farm cow is complete.
