Easy Mouse Craft
This mouse is so cute and easy to make for your little one. Created with the heart shape it makes a perfect Valentine's Day craft. Do this one at home or school. Choose a classic book about mice to read along with it. My suggestions are: "The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear" , "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" and "Frederick".
Supplies:
- Cardstock or Construction Paper ( any color)
- Mouse Template
- Pipe cleaner ( any color you choose)
- Goggly eye
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Print out mouse template. You can print on cardstock or cut construction paper to fit in your printer.
- Cut out hearts
- Fold the larger heart in half and glue. Leave space at larger end to glue pipe cleaner.
- Glue the smaller hear at the smaller end of the paper, this will be the ear for the mouse.
- Flip over and glue other heart to match the heart on the other side.
- Glue the goggly eye with a gluestick or glue gun.
- Use a black marker to add nose and whiskers.
- Create the tail. First cut a pipe cleaner in half.
- Then, use and twist the pipe cleaner around it. Pull the pipe cleaner off the pencil.
- Glue to pipe cleaner at the larger end of the body.
