Dollar Tree Bunny Sign

Dollar Tree Bunny Sign
Bunny sign to decorate your home this Spring

Dollar Tree always has some great craft pieces. I love coming up with ways to transform the items into seasonal decorations for my home. So after seeing these wooden square hanging sign I purchased a few for later ideas.

Purchase this wooden sign for the Dollar Tree

First, find some scrapbook paper to trace the bunnies onto. I had this bunny from an old Dollar Tree sign from last year. You can also print a bunny picture and use it as a tracer as well. Trace and cut out the bunnies to fit on your board. I found 12 bunnies were a good fit for my board. This will vary depending on the size of your bunny tracer.

Next, choose a background color for the wood. Pick something that coordinates with the paper you used for the bunnies. I prefer to cover with scrapbook paper, it fits easily and covers well. You can however also paint the wood as well.

Next, use painters tape to create straight lines for gluing on the bunnies. Glue the bunnies down onto the board.

Add a small white pom pom to each bunnies' tail. I attached these with a hot glue gun.

Add a trim to the outside of the sign. I used this pom pom trim I had . I used a hot glue gun to attach it around the edge.

After completing, I decided the pom pom trim I had was a little flat. I decided to add some pink pom poms to each one.

Lastly attach a piece of twine or ribbon of choice to hang the sign. I used a hot glue gun to attach the twine I used.
