Ribbons are trending right now and I love the look of it! It can be hard to find the ribbon decor since it is so popular. By doing it yourself you can personalize the color, and size.

I was able to grab this pink, velvet ribbon at Michaels on clearance at Christmas. Whenever you spot clearance items think of how you can use them for crafts for other holidays or seasons.

I recommend using a wire garland to help these bow hold their shape. You will also need small rubber bands. I purchased mine in the hair section from teh Dollar Tree. Begin by cutting the ribbon to the size.

Next, you will take the ribbon and twist it. Then, grab in the center and add a rubber band to the center.

Repeat until you have all the bows you would like for your garland. Next you will hot glue a small piece of ribbon in the center. This will complete the bow and cover the rubber band you used.

Cut the ends of the bows at angle to complete the bow.

Finally, hot glue the sides of the bows together to create the garland at any length you need. Alternatively, you can glue each ribbon to a length of ribbon or twine.
