Circle Crab Craft

Create this simple crab crab while using only a circle to create. You can cut out your own circles or print the ones provided. This is an easy craft and can be used in combination with alcohol dyed paper. Alcohol ink dyed papers are perfect to create in large quantities and colors. You can use them for a variety of crafts and art projects.

For this project, I used a blue sprayed alcohol paper I had previously created. You can of course simply use a sheet of blue paper as well. To begin, create an ocean bottom on the paper. You can sponge paint the bottom with yellow to make it look like the ocean bottom. Use a small piece of a sponge, I like to purchase mine at the Dollar Tree. I then cut them into small pieces. Dip the sponge in some paint ( you can do yellow, brown, gray) and press it along the bottom to make the floor.

Next, cut out the circles on red paper. You will need 1 large circle and 4 small circles. Again, you can draw these and cut out or use the provided template.

Print the circles on red paper and cut out.
After cutting out, fold all of the circles in half. Then glue the circles onto the paper. place them on the paper before gluing. Make sure they will fit in a way that will allow space for the claws and legs.

Next, glue all the circles in place. You can add a little glue to the circle halves to keep them together. Now, using a black marker, add legs and arms for the claws.

Add arms and legs for the crab.
Add lines in the middle of the larger circle to add the eyes. You can add eyes with a black marker or add googly eyes. Last, add a smile with a black marker.

Add eyes and a mouth.
