Arctic Narwhal Art
This adorable narwhal is a quick and easy craft that you will love making with your child.

If you’re looking for a fun, activity this winter? Create an arctic narwhal with few supplies. Often called the “unicorns of the sea,” narwhals are fascinating creatures that inspire the imagination. This will be a fun craft to complete with any child. You can research and explore all about narwhals to go along with it.

First, print out the papers needed to create your narwhal. You can print on gray paper. Or, you can print on white and allow your child to paint or color in their own narwhal. Allow them to express their creativity or match colors to a real narwhal.

You can print on gray and white paper for an easy craft.

After, cut out the pieces of the narwhal. The lines of the cut outs are thick to allow for any cutting mistakes. Allow your child to cut and allow them to practice their fine motor skills.

Create your narwhal with simple triangles.

After, use a glue stick to attach the gray triangles to the side of the narwhal's body and the white triangle to the top of the narwhal's head. Did you know this “tusk” is actually an elongated tooth, and it can grow up to 10 feet long!

Attach triangles on the side to create fins and the triangle at the top of it's head.

Now add details to the narwhal's face and tusk. Turn the narwhal sideways and draw a capital letter D to create a mouth for the narwhal. Color it in and then add two circles above it as eyes. Next, draw lines across the white triangle to add detail to its tooth.
