10 Fabulous Books About Flamingos

Here is a great list of 10 Fiction books about Flamingos for young readers. I love discovering new books. I love how authors write about feeling and real situations children can relate to. Check out these book for your child's next favorite read.

1. “Fabio The World’s Greatest Flamingo Detective” by Laura James:  These are a great series of chapter books for young readers ages 6-8. The 3 set series of books are about Fabio the detective and his associate Gilbert the Giraffe. 

2. “Flamingo BINGO” by Heidi E.Y. Stemple:  Birds have gathered to play Bingo in this fun book for beginning readers.  Full of high frequency words and easy to read words, your new reader will love this silly tale.

3. “Mingo the Flamingo” by Pete Oslwald: When heading South, Mingo the Flamingo gets lost and ends up on a farm, in the middle of winter! Even worse is he doesn't remember who he is. The animals on the farm are so nice and helpful in helping Mingo recover and remember he is a flamingo. Read to find out the surprising ending to Mingo's adventure.
